Applying to enrol in a doctorate with international certificates

To apply for enrolment in a doctorate programme, please upload the following documents:

  1. CV

  2. Copy of your ID or passport

  3. Certified copy of the university certificate that entitles you to undertake a doctorate (e.g., your master’s degree certificate); Note:?If the certificate is not in German or English, please also submit a translation by a sworn translator.

  4. Transcript of Records from your master’s and bachelor’s degrees

  5. Confirmation of supervision from the faculty

Please submit a certified copy of your university certificate that entitles you to undertake a doctorate, as well as the original of your confirmation of?supervision,?for enrolment. You may also send us the confirmation of supervision via internal mail.

If you are admitted, you can complete the online enrolment and with the enrolment request and evidence of having paid the semester fee apply to be enrolled. Please take note of the checklist for enrolling in a doctorate.?
