The FAI Graduate Centre provides a wide range of support services for doctoral candidates and postdoctoral reseachers. It offers workshops, trainings, and events designed to support the development of early-creer scientiests. A particular emphasis is placed on building networks among doctoral candidates and postdocs within the faculty and on promoting interdisciplinary exchange.

From 21-27 June 2026, we will hold our annual Graduate Retreat in Sion, Wallis. Participation is only possible
if you have been accepted as PhD candidate by the faculty or have a position as a postdoc with one of the chairs and professors?of the faculty, and
if you have at least one?definite research question for your research project / PhD project
Not more than 2 particpants from the same professor may participate at the same time and not more than 15 participants in total. The Graduate Retreat is organized by at least two professors, one from the Institute of of Geography, the other from the Institute of Computer Science. More information may be found
