Als ehemalige Dekanin der Penn Graduate School of Education (2014–2023) und Nomellini-Olivier-Professorin emerita an der Stanford University hat sie eine weltweite Bewegung hin zu einer praxisorientierten Lehrerausbildung angeführt und inspiriert. As former Dean of Penn Graduate School of Education (2014–2023) and Nomellini-Olivier Professor Emerita at Stanford, she has led and inspired a global movement toward practice-based teacher education.
