Students from all faculties can participate in the soft skills courses – under different conditions:

• Participation for students of MNTF and the Institute of Computer Science is free of charge,* as course places are financed by these institutes in some degree programs due to credit applicability**.
  The number of participants is limited, and the max. available course places are allocated to the students of the respective institutes according to the proportional financing. In case of high demand, higher semester students are given priority.
  *?Course fee/note regarding invoicing in Digicampus is NOT relevant as long as the institute quota is sufficient

• Recommendations for students:

• Students from all other faculties or institutes can participate in all courses for a participation fee. Please refer to the section "Paid Soft Skills Courses, Payment, and Withdrawal" for details.

Start of registration

Registration for the individual soft skills courses is done online via Digicampus and is divided into two phases. Information on this will be provided in good time via the ?Veranstaltungsübersicht? and under Aktuelles. Please pay attention to the registration modalities for the individual soft skills courses. The exact registration time and the approved faculties can be found under the respective courses (Homepage>Courses>Course>Overview>Details>Participants/Registration Mode).

After your online registration for a soft skills course, your status in Digicampus is initially "provisionally accepted" or "READER." Admission takes place according to the selection criteria of the individual course descriptions in Digicampus. You will be informed via Digicampus when you have been admitted to a course => your status changes to "Student." Only then do you have a confirmed course place and are finally admitted to the corresponding soft skills course!
The status "provisionally accepted" or "READER" is NOT yet a permission to participate in a soft skills course.
Depending on the course, it may be possible to move up if you are on a waiting list.

If you have problems with registration, the staff of the Career Service will be happy to assist you with any questions.

This is how to avoid common mistakes:

• Use a current browser
• Register via Digicampus under Career Service with selection of the correct (subsequent) semester
• Be sure to provide a valid e-mail address

Paid soft skills courses, payment, and withdrawal
Participation in paid soft skills courses depends on the degree program and faculty. Please refer to the corresponding course description and the assigned registration procedure in Digicampus for the amount of the participation fee.

If you are admitted to a paid soft skills course, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail from the Career Service shortly after the allocation round, asking you to confirm your paid participation.
With your written response via the evaluation in Digicampus, you confirm your binding participation in this course, accept the Career Service participation conditions, and commit to paying the invoice.
After this confirmation, we can initiate the invoicing process at the University of Augsburg, and the invoice for the respective course can be sent to you via administration.
Withdrawal is therefore no longer possible after the invoice has been issued, and the participation fee must be transferred within the specified payment period!

• The payment of the participation fee is made exclusively by bank transfer to the Staatsoberkasse Bayern.
• It is absolutely mandatory to provide the corresponding invoice number and the event title.

After receipt of payment (proof of transfer), we can upgrade your status in Digicampus => Status "Student," and you will be admitted to the soft skills course!

Please check carefully whether you are available at the specified date and can participate in the selected soft skills course! Withdrawal does not release you from your payment obligation after the invoice has been issued, and payments already made for paid soft skills courses will not be refunded by the University of Augsburg.
