A CV that includes some extra qualifications on top of the usual subject-specific skills is a great way to make yourself stand out from the crowd on the job market. It's good to have good interpersonal skills, as well as good communication and problem-solving abilities. These are useful in your personal life, and they're also great assets in a professional context. Taking part in soft skills courses and other offers from the Career Service will help you to make your personal profile stand out.
As a bonus, practical experience in other areas and social commitment are great for showing future employers what you’re made of.

Soft skills courses / key competencies
Which soft skills and methodological competencies are important later in everyday working life? How can I acquire these at university?
For this purpose, we offer you a broad range of soft skills courses, which are offered predominantly during the lecture-free period.
In small groups with a large practical component, you can expand or deepen your competencies, together with students from all disciplines, e.g. receive their feedback on your communication and deal with new topics, work out projects together, explore your leadership skills or even run a company. The predominantly two- to multi-day full-day workshops are conducted by renowned professionals from practice.
