The acquisition and implementation of high-ranking third-party research projects is in many cases time consuming. It requires not only extensive academic experience and expertise. Funding strategies and administrative aspects also play an important role.?

?

The University of Augsburg therefore offers its researchers numerous opportunities for support and advice with respect to submitting research funding applications and implementing projects:

?

  • The Research Service is the central point of contact for all questions relating to the submission of funding applications.
  • The management of your acquired third-party funded projects is handled by Unit IV, which is also the point of contact for legal matters relating to (third-party funded) research.
  • The University’s research centres also provide support to their members in applying for and implementing third-party funded projects.
  • University members have access to comprehensive information services such as the Research Knowledge Base, the FIT Newsletter, and the ELFIdatabase of research funding programmes.
  • Numerous events and workshops also provide support with the planning and initiation of third-party funded projects.
