The W¨¹bben Foundation sandpit program invites re?se?ar?chers to work outside their comfort zone in un?con?ven?tio?nal con?stel?la?ti?ons in order to give shape to an over?ar?ching topic and develop fresh ap?proa?ches and re?se?arch ques?ti?ons that promise to deliver in?no?va?ti?ve in?sights. W¨¹bben Foundation is offering sandpits in 2026 on the theme ¡°Understanding, shaping, and transforming bureaucracy".?15-20 Curious Minds will have the opportunity to give shape to a topic away from es?tab?lished struc?tures and pre?dic?ta?ble con?stel?la?ti?ons.?Re?se?ar?chers at all career levels (post-doc and above) and from all di?sci?pli?nes working at a German uni?ver?si?ty are eligible to apply.

W¨¹bben Foundation is making avail?ab?le €50,000 for a three-day sandpit event plus an ensuing work?shop to do?cu?ment the results.?
