Introduction
Gabriel is a Civil Engineer with an MSc in Soil Science and is currently a PhD student and Research Assistant at the University of Augsburg, Germany. He is a key member of the TASC project (Trajectories of Accelerated Soil Change in Tropical Arable Land), a research initiative that investigates how intense agricultural use and climate change drive rapid soil transformations in the Brazilian Cerrado. His work focuses on identifying the pathways of erosion-induced soil change and its cascading effects on ecosystem services such as crop production and water regulation.?
