Im Wintersemester 2025/2026 veranstalten Herr Dr. Achim Herfs (Partner Kirkland and Ellis) und Frau Dr. Lisa Wolf ein Seminar zu aktuellen Fragen des Kapitalgesellschaftsrechts und des Kapitalmarktrechts.
Das Seminar wird im Januar/Februar 2026 verblockt stattfinden.
Die endgültige Themenvergabe erfolgt im November.

Das Seminar ist auf 16 Teilnehmer begrenzt und richtet sich an Studenten der Rechtswissenschaft der Schwerpunktbereiche SP III und VII.

In the summer semester of 2025, Prof. Hellgardt will offer a basics seminar on the topic of "General Legal Transaction Theory and Digitalization." This seminar will cover both fundamental questions and current developments in the digitalization of contract law.
The preliminary discussion will take place on Tuesday, February 4, at 4:00 p.m. in Room 1013.
The actual seminar will take place as a block event on May 19 and 26, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Room 1214.

Prof. Hellgardt is offering a basic seminar on the topic of "private law and politics" in the winter semester of 2024/25. The seminar covers the relationship between private law and politics in detail, starting with the creation of the German Civil Code (BGB) and extending to current challenges such as climate litigation or the tension between sustainability and consumer protection. Registration is now possible via Digicampus. The preliminary meeting will take place on October 29th at 2:00 p.m. in room 1214. The actual seminar will take place as a block event on December 9th, 10th and 16th.
